About Parents & Beyond

Supporting Your Growth Through Anxiety and Stress Management

At Parents & Beyond, we believe every journey deserves understanding, especially when it comes to anxiety and stress management.

Were You Born to Be a Parent?

We don’t always know what we’re doing as parents. We think we don’t want to educate our children like our parents, or we unconsciously educate our children like our parents. We are here to empower you and assist you in becoming a better “team” with your children.

We believe that, even after so many years, Alfred Adler’s philosophy is still relevant and beneficial to so many families around the world!
We want to give parents the tools they need to become the parents they’ve always wanted to be.

Our Vision

To create a world where every individual, parent, and family, regardless of cultural background or life circumstance feels seen, supported, and empowered to grow. We envision a future where compassionate, accessible, and culturally sensitive mental health and parenting support is a norm, not a privilege.

Our Team

Grounded in Expertise, Committed to Excellence

At Parents & Beyond, you are supported by a dedicated team of professionals with extensive experience in mental health, parenting, and communication. Our team brings together diverse backgrounds and qualifications, combining psychological expertise with real-world insight to create a warm, inclusive, and supportive space.

We are committed to evidence-based practices, cultural sensitivity, and helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. Below, you can learn more about the people behind the work we do.

Vered Harel

Hi, I’m Vered – and this space was born from my own lived experience of overwhelm, survival, and rebuilding.

When I first became a mum, I was anxious, exhausted, and constantly in survival mode. At the time, I didn’t really understand what I was going through — only now, looking back, do I realise how much I carried, and how disconnected I felt from myself. It’s almost like watching a movie where I wasn’t fully present as the main character.

My passion originally began with parenting. I studied at the Adler Institute, became a parenting coach, and believed that learning parenting skills would be the answer. But life took me in a different direction.
My marriage broke down, I was living overseas without support, and I found myself struggling emotionally and financially in ways I never expected.

In those years, I learned a powerful truth:
It’s not just about parenting — it’s about the parent.
About the person behind the role.
About their wellbeing, identity, and emotional strength.

Sam Kalta

Sam offers deep understanding shaped by the recognition that life can be difficult, disorienting, and, at times, overwhelming. He knows that such conditions can give rise to thoughts or behaviours that may not serve our well-being—yet often make sense within their lived context.
Drawing on academic formation spanning science, laboratory medicine, psychology, and counselling—as well as diverse life experience—Sam brings a grounded and compassionate presence into the counselling space. He supports individuals in making sense of their mental life and offers a safe, respectful environment in which people can explore what changes may support a more coherent, purposeful, and connection-filled life.

In those years, I learned a powerful truth:
It’s not just about parenting — it’s about the parent.
About the person behind the role.
About their wellbeing, identity, and emotional strength.

This realisation led me to deepen my professional journey. I studied mental health, trauma, communication, and human behaviour. I completed a Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy, a Master of Science in Professional Communication, and an Adlerian Diploma in Parenting Coaching. I expanded my skills from coaching into psychotherapy, integrating evidence-based and creative approaches.

And slowly, everything made sense.
I wasn’t just supporting parents —
I was supporting individuals, humans, stories, and journeys.

That’s why Parents & Beyond was created.
Because the work goes far beyond parenting.
It’s about the person you are, the transitions you face, the wounds you carry, and the life you want to build.

With over 15 years of experience and a deep personal understanding of what it means to feel uprooted, overwhelmed, or unsupported, I offer therapy that is:

✨ Trauma-informed
✨ Culturally sensitive
✨ Person-centred
✨ Warm and collaborative
✨ Grounded in real-life insight

As a single mum of two who lived abroad for many years, I know how hard it is to navigate parenting, identity, and major life transitions far from home. These experiences shaped my empathy, my approach, and my belief in providing a safe emotional space for others.

Whether you are seeking therapy, parenting support, or simply a place to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk with you — gently, respectfully, and at your pace.

Sessions are available online in English and Hebrew, and you’re welcome to book a free 30-minute introductory call to see if we’re the right fit.

Let’s begin your journey toward clarity, confidence, and connection — together.
