Welcome to Parents & Beyond. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access and use of our online platform (“Platform”) through which mental health counselling and psychotherapy services are provided. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
This website (www.parentingschool.com.au) is owned and operated by Parents & Beyond. Our services comply with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) guidelines.

1. Services Provided
The Platform is designed to provide online therapy and counselling services by qualified therapists who adhere to the standards set by PACFA. Parents & Beyond serves as the provider, and multiple therapists may work under this business. Services include, but are not limited to:
✔ Individual therapy
✔ Parental counselling
✔ Trauma-informed care
✔ Anxiety, stress, and grief support
✔ Online sessions in Hebrew and English
✔ Flexible appointment scheduling for clients across different time zones
Therapists providing services through our Platform are independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Parents & Beyond.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
- Use the Platform for personal counselling purposes only and not on behalf of another person.
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection for online sessions.
3. Confidentiality and Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. All sessions and personal information are confidential and protected under Australian privacy laws. Your therapist follows ethical guidelines set by PACFA. However, exceptions apply where disclosure is required by law, including:
- Risk of harm to yourself or others.
- Court orders or legal obligations.
- Mandatory reporting of abuse or neglect.

4. Payment and Cancellation Policy
- Payment for sessions must be made prior to booking.
- You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session without penalty.
- Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the session) may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
- Refunds are only applicable in cases where the session could not take place due to technical issues from the therapist’s side.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Attend scheduled sessions on time.
- Communicate respectfully with therapists.
- Provide a quiet and private space for their sessions.
- Be prepared for each session with any required materials (if applicable).
- Understand that therapy is a process, and results take time.
6. Therapist Credentials and Ethical Standards
All therapists working under Parents & Beyond must:
- Hold relevant qualifications and experience in counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology.
- Be registered with PACFA or an equivalent professional body.
- Adhere to strict ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality, professionalism, and duty of care.
7. Therapist-Client Relationship & Boundaries
- The therapeutic relationship is strictly professional and does not replace medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Therapists cannot provide official medical diagnoses or prescribe medication.
- Sessions are not to be recorded without explicit written consent from both parties.
- Any inappropriate behavior towards therapists will result in immediate termination of services.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if:
- The client violates any terms of this Agreement.
- The therapist determines that the client requires a level of care beyond what online therapy can provide.
- The client repeatedly fails to attend sessions without notice.
- Ethical concerns arise that prevent the therapist from continuing the relationship.
Clients may choose to discontinue therapy at any time, but unused prepaid sessions are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
9. Limitations of Services
Our Platform is not suitable for emergency or crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact:

- Your local emergency services
Additionally, our services are not suitable for:
- Diagnosing mental health disorders requiring formal medical evaluations.
- Providing court-mandated therapy.
- Supporting individuals with severe psychiatric conditions requiring in-person supervision.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and Platform (logos, text, images, materials) is owned by Parents & Beyond and protected under copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of our content without written permission.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Therapy outcomes vary by individual. We do not guarantee specific results from counselling.
- Parents & Beyond is not liable for any personal or technical issues arising from your use of the Platform.
- While we ensure qualified therapists, we are not responsible for the therapist-client relationship or any advice given during sessions.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on www.parentingschool.com.au. By continuing to use the Platform, you accept any updates made.
